Your New Middletown NJ Photographer - Say Hi, Say Cheese, and Let’s Freeze Time (in the best way possible)

So… I did a thing. I officially launched my portrait photography business—and I am so excited to share it with you!

I specialize in capturing families, kids, couples in love, and especially seniors ready to take on the world (bring your graduation cap, your dreams, and a killer outfit—we’ll make magic). Serving Middletown, NJ and surrounding areas within Monmouth County. (But you can entice me to travel!)

Here’s the thing: I’ve always been a creative. I’ve been drawn to beautiful things for as long as I can remember—floral arrangements, embroidery, vintage wallpaper, art galleries, you name it. In school, my teachers nudged me toward art classes (and then gently shoved me into competitions). I studied art in college, where I got my hands on my first film camera and fell head over heels for photography.

But the spark? That came from my parents, who, during my whole childhood, documented our many cross-country road trips, cameras in hand, photographing wildflowers, bison in the distance, and those sweeping national park views that stop you mid-snack. Their love of photography planted the seed. But becoming a parent? That’s when it bloomed.

After my first child was born, I became that mom—with the camera glued to her hand, trying to bottle every moment before it slipped away. I quickly realized that photos aren’t just about faces and places—they’re about feeling. A baby’s gummy smile, a dad’s proud eyes, a messy windblown picnic in the park. They’re time machines in JPEG form.

I learned how to not just capture a moment, but preserve the essence of it. The mood. The memory. The era of someone’s life.

And when friends started asking me to take their photos—and told me how beautiful they felt seeing themselves through my lens—that’s when I knew. This wasn’t just a hobby. It was my calling.

So here I am, camera in hand, ready to make new friends, snap some gorgeous memories, and maybe even make you feel like a rockstar along the way.
